Cadillac's all new 2011 Cadillac Escalade has received a few changes in design and performance. Those initial upgrades have caught the eye of JD Power & Assoc. - one of America's highest rating systems for businesses and products. 

2011's Escalade has come up on top for best "large premium crossover/SUV segment," according to a 2011 Initial Quality Study by JD Power. Escalade is also the highest-performing vehicle in its segment for the second year in a row. The Cadillac brand ranked 9th place among the Top 10 in the industry for initial quality as well. 

2011's Initial Quality Survey is based on feedback from over 73,000 purchasers and lessees of 2011 model year vehicles. Each are surveyed after 90 days of ownership. 

The study includes a 228-questionnaire designed to provide manufacturers with information that can quickly identify problems and help push improvement forward. 

"Escalade's highest-in-segment leadership showcases Cadillac's commitment to our customers," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac Marketing. "We're now focused on continuing and expanding our brand's quality improvement in every segment in which we compete."¹
