Since last year, Cadillac has been building up the hype about its new models coming out. In this case, bigger is not always better. Cadillac is known for its large cars, but due fuel costs and the push for technology with the younger generations, Cadillac is looking to scale down in size, without losing any of its luxurious perks.
Models like the Cadillac CTS have brought fresh attention tout the spotlight back on the company. Thanks to its many variants, including a CTS wagon and CTS-V coupe, Cadillac's stock has already shot up.
There are even more models coming later this year (for the 2012 season) at Cadillac of Novi - 41350 Grand River Ave Novi, MI, and we have the latest and greatest models for you to test drive:
According to Bill Visnic, senior editor at Edmunds AutoObserver, "Cadillac needs to be in the [small car] segment, and it needs to be a player in the high-output, high-fuel-efficiency four-cylinder engines the ATS will use."1
Caddy will release two new models that will most definitely demand attention in the domestic auto industry. A smaller Cadillac ATS sedan will be sportier than its CTS brother, and a little more aggressive looking. ATS will be a tinier version than previous flagship DTS models, but won't eliminate any luxury as a result.
Don't think that Cadillac will neglect where its large comfortable roots. The luxurious 2012 XTS is a larger model for those still looking to remain in the sedan arena. A front wheel drive model with plenty of high-tech gadgets inside, the car will be available in all-wheel-drive options as well, and include powerful V6 engines.
Now would be the time to get ahead of the "bandwagon" and jump in a Cadillac.
