2012 Cadillac SRX Copycat - Dongfeng

If you're in the market for a new luxury car, Cadillac of Novi, serving the greater Detroit area, highly recommends a new Cadillac. But lately, there's been some... Let's call it imitation amongst foreign competitors to match the style and comfort that Cadillac offers, and we're not talking about the Blue and White Shield or the Big L.
In China, an automaker called Dongfeng recently made their love of the 2012 Cadillac SRX known by copying it in every way possible. The vehicle, which has yet to receive an official name, bears a remarkably similar front-end grille to that found on the Cadillac SRX. And the similarities don't stop there either. Everything about the vehicles exterior, from the body lines to the wheels and headlamps, is distinctly Cadillac.
What isn't, however, is what's found under the hood of the new Dongfeng crossover. In fact, you'll find no Cadillac-sourced or even inspired parts there. What you will find is an under-powered 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine... Nothing like the direct-injection 3.6-liter powerplant you'll find under the hood of the Cadillac SRX, which is good for 308 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque.
The one thing that we here at Cadillac of Novi, located at 41350 Grand River Ave, can say about the new Dongfeng crossover is that it is somewhat flattering to see foreign competitors try and imitate the Cadillac SRX with such precision... at least on the outside. Of course, we're guessing you're still more interested in the real thing. If so, simply contact us today to arrange at test drive.
