Cadillac XTS Big in Canada

One of the most popular GM vehicles in Canada is the upcoming 2013 Cadillac XTS. How can a ride that's not even out at Cadillac of Novi be popular? Simple - the car is built in Canada.

"The all-new 2013 Cadillac XTS will arrive in Canadian showrooms later this spring as a 2013 model. GM invested $117 million in its Oshawa, Ontario Assembly Plant to prepare it for this new luxury sedan and added approximately 400 jobs." They will bring new vehicles to our Cadillac dealership in Novi soon, also helping keep jobs at local dealers.1

XTS is being set up as a possibly new flagship for Cadillac. With some incredible standard features, it's no wonder why the auto maker targets XTS to represent their brand.

All-wheel drive is new with XTS, and will compete with the likes of foreign (German) luxury competition. It is also the debut of CUE, a "comprehensive in-vehicle experience that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and media control."2

What really amazes us about this new Cadillac is the on board technology. A huge layout of programs are part of XTS's control and alert strategy. It has the potential to give those behind the wheel a clear picture of everything happening around the vehicle, identifying potential crash situations and automatically intervening. The Safety Alert Seat feature vibrates left or right side driver's seat cushioning, depending on the location of a possible collision. There's also Automatic Collision Prep, which can take over control if the driver does not react quickly enough.

Soon, your Cadillac XTS might be doing all the drive itself.
