When you think of the new CADILLAC flagship, especially the new 2013 CADILLAC XTS, technology extras are one of the first options that come to mind.

 

CADILLAC is going to have a very special feature standard on all 2013 CADILLAC XTS trims. An iPad will be available standard with all purchases of a 2013 XTS. Along with the Apple product, a new app called MyCadillac will be available. This app allows driver and passengers to access the XTS infotainment system, among other features.

 

Not only will 2013 XTS come preloaded with MyCadillac app, it will also include OnStar RemoteLink for the iPad.

 

"The moment you pull away from the dealership, there's this kind of black hole for 90 days," says Wired.com. "We need to think about helping [owners] with the learning curve. Even if you get a walk-through at the dealership, you're going to forget about a lot of the features. And we want the customer to learn about CUE on their own time."¹

 

2013 XTS comes in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, achieving 17 mpg city, 28 mpg highway with the FWD trim. This vehicle is powered by a 3.6L V6 engine, producing 300 horsepower with a six-speed automatic.
