The 2011 Cadillac SRX recently received the honor or "Top Safety Pick" from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
In order to determine how well new vehicles protect occupants in a crash, the IIHS rates crashworthiness as good, acceptable, marginal or poor based on performance demonstrated in a series of high-speed tests.
