Bob Krause Golf


 

Building business and reaching out into the community, Cadillac of Novi has partnered with local golf professional Bob Krause. For nearly 20 years, Bob has used his passion and knowledge for the game of golf to build one of the most successful teaching academies in the state of Michigan.  In 2008, the 40 year old Michigan native founded the Bob Krause Golf Academy where he is currently the director of instruction with two locations at Prestwick Village Golf Club in Highland and Fieldstone Golf Club in Auburn Hills. With nine years of professional playing experience, Bob provides not only a technical knowledge of the game, but a communication style that is unmatched by most teaching pros.  He has co-authored a book, titled "Golf Tips That Won't Hurt a Bit", is endorsed by PGA tour player Vijay Singh and also writes a golf column that appears weekly in the Oakland Press highlighting his knowledge and insight into the game.

Krause ascended to a more visible role in the Spring of 2010, when he teamed up with Fox 2 Detroit to create the popular "Hammer Project" TV series which not only highlights his gift for teaching, but also showcases his superlative communication skills and talent for connecting with every student he instructs. His commitment to first class instruction is compatible with every student regardless of skill level. "My goal is always to teach every student with great respect and make my students better players, helping them understand how to reach their maximum potential."

Bob has also played at the highest level, having competed in three PGA Tour qualifying schools he has played professionally against many of the brightest stars on the PGA Tour including, Zach Johnson, Chad Campbell, Woody Austin, Brandel Chamblee and many others. "I understand how to compete and what it takes to improve at all levels of the game from beginner to the PGA Tour Professional".
